Assigning Permissions to Owners at the Client Group Level

To assign permissions universally to all client owners residing in a particular client computer group, assign the permissions at the client computer group level. When clients are added to this client computer group, they automatically inherit the permissions set at this level.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computers Groups.

2. Right-click the client_group and then click Properties.

   The Client Group dialog box is displayed.

3. Click the Security tab.

4. Click Owner Permissions.

   The Owner Permissions dialog box is displayed.

5. From the Permissions list, select the permissions to assign as security rights.

   Tip: To include all permissions, select the All Permissions check box.

6. Click OK.
