Autoconfiguration Process for Farm Pseudoclients

The autoconfiguration process for farm pseudoclients performs several tasks to configure the pseudoclients.

1. Remotely installs the SharePoint Server Agent on all SharePoint clients.

2. Remotely installs the SQL Server Agent on one SQL client in the farm.

3. Creates a pseudoclient, a database backup set, and a subclient, and then assigns a storage policy that you specify to the subclient.

4. Creates a default SQL subclient, and then assigns the storage policy that you specify to the subclient.

5. Enables block-level backups on the SQL subclient.

6. Assigns the schedule policy that you select to the pseudoclient.
