Backup operation on Google Team Drive is enabled for all users who are a part of that drive. This results is redundant backup operations. To avoid this, back up the drive using a single user account by adding that user to a separate subclient, and enabling Team Drive backup operation only on that subclient.

For better performance and throughput, you can create multiple subclients in one go.
