Configuration

After the agent is added and configure, configure a target mailbox and create a subclient.

Before You Begin

Create a storage policy.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Console, expand Client Computers > client.

2. Right-click the agent, and then click Properties.

3. Click the Target Mailbox tab.

4. Click Configure.

5. Click Discover.

6. Select the destination mailbox to which messages will be retrieved in the Select column.

   The mailbox selected is often a mailbox that you created specifically for compliance purposes.

7. Click OK.

8. From the CommCell Console, right-click the agent, and then click All Tasks > New Subclient.

9. Type a name for the subclient.

10. Click the Content tab.

11. Click Configure.

12. Click Discover.

13. Select one journal mailbox listed in the Mailbox Name list for your first archive.

14. In the Change all selected mailboxes to list, click the name of the subclient that you created previously.

15. Click OK.

16. Click the Storage Devices tab.

17. Select a Storage Policy, and then click OK.
