Configuration of the Inline Replication Feature for the INFINIDAT Storage Array

To configure the INFINIDAT Replication feature, with the INFINIDAT software, you need to set up the replication link between the local array and the remote array. With the Commvault software, you create the storage policy for replication, associate the subclients that you want to protect the replica copy, and then add and configure the arrays in the Commvaultsoftware.

Procedure

1. On the INFINIDAT console, connect the local array and the target array.

2. Create a storage policy and a snapshot copy on that storage policy. See Creating a Storage Policy and a Snapshot Primary Copy.

3. Create the replica copy. See Creating a Replica Copy.

4. Associate the replica copy to the subclients whose snapshots you want to replicate. See Associating the Replica Copy and Subclients.

5. Add the local storage array in Array Management. See Configuring the INFINIDAT Array Using Array Management.

6. Add the remote storage array in Array Management. See Configuring the INFINIDAT Array Using Array Management.
