Connections using WAN can be enabled to perform data compression on network and checksum verification before writing data on HPE Catalyst libraries.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand to Storage Resources | Libraries | <Library>.

Right-click the appropriate mount path, and then click Properties.

Click the Sharing tab.

Select the controller path and click the Edit button.
The Edit HPE Catalyst Storage dialog box is displayed.

In the Advanced tab, select the Connection via WAN option

Click OK.
Result
Data compression and checksum verification will be enabled for subsequent write operations in the library.
