Configuring MySQL Subclient to Enable Full Instance XtraBackup

To back up the whole MySQL instance using XtraBackup utility, configure an existing MySQL subclient.

Before You Begin

Ensure that block level, IntelliSnap, and standby options are disabled.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers | client | MySQL | instance.

2. Right-click the subclient for which you want to enable XtraBackup, and then click Properties.

   The Subclient Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the Advanced Backup Options tab, select the Full instance XtraBackup check box.

4. Click OK.
