You can define the list of objects names to exclude from a restore operation. Use a blank space to separate objects. For example, type Account Documents Attachment CustomObj__c.
You can use standard regular expressions to match a set of objects. For example, if you want to skip all external objects, set the value of the additional setting to .*__x$.

To the client computer, add the additional setting as shown in the following table.
