Before you manage the MySQL instance that has cluster settings configured, review the following considerations:
-
You can edit the Cluster Settings tab only from the instance where you configured the settings. You cannot edit the cluster settings from the secondary instances.
-
You cannot delete the instance that has cluster settings configured without disabling the cluster backup.
-
You cannot remove the instance that has cluster settings configured, from the cluster, without disabling the cluster backup.
-
To disable the group replication cluster support, clear theEnable Cluster Backup check box in the Instance Properties of MySQL Instance dialog box of the primary Commvault instance, and then remove the bEnableMySQLClusterBackup additional setting from all the cluster clients.
