Creating a Mirror Copy for Azure NetApp Files Volumes Replication

Create a secondary snapshot copy for the Azure NetApp Files volumes.

Before you Begin

• To create the mirror copy, you must use a storage policy.

• If you have not yet done so, create a storage policy with a snap primary copy. See Creating a Storage Policy and a Primary Snap Copy.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Policies > Storage Policies.

2. Right-click the storage policy, point to All Tasks, and then click Create New Snapshot Copy.

   The Copy Details dialog box appears.

3. Enter the following information:

   1. In the Copy Name box, type a name for the storage policy copy.

   2. In the Array Replication section, select Mirror.

   3. For Storage Pools, do one of the following:

      • From the Storage Pool list, select a storage pool.

      • To add a storage pool, click Add, and then follow the wizard for storage pools.

4. In the Copy Policy window, from the Specify Source for Array Replica Copy list, select snap copy, and then click Next.

5. In the Snap Configuration tab, from the Snap Vendor list, select Microsoft Azure.

6. Click Finish.

7. Click OK.
