Creating a Network Share Client for Archiving NFS Exports

You must create a network share client to perform archive operations on NFS exports.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click Client Computers, and then click New Client.

   The Add New Client dialog box appears.

2. From the File System ribbon, click the NAS/Network Share icon.

   The Add NAS/Network Share Client dialog box appears.

3. In the Client Name box, type the non-NDMP network share client name.

4. In the Host Name box, type the fully qualified non-NDMP network share client name/IP.

5. Select the Network Share check box, and then select the NFS check box.

6. Click OK.

A pseudo network share client is created on the CommCell Console.
