Creating a Nutanix Files Client for NFS Exports

After you install the Linux File System Agent on the data access nodes, create a Nutanix Files client in the CommCell Console.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click Client Computers and click Add New Client.

   The Add New Client dialog box appears.

2. From the File System ribbon, click the Nutanix Files icon.

   The Add Nutanix Files Client dialog box appears.

3. Select the NFS check box.

4. In the Client Name box, type a name for the new Network Share client.

5. Click File Server, and then select the array that you created.

   Add the file server into array management if it does not already exist.

6. Click OK.

Result

The Commvault software creates a client that has Linux File System Agent with a default backup set and a default subclient.
