Creating User-Defined Backup Sets for NFS Exports

When you create a network share client, a default backup set is automatically created under Linux File System agent, which contains a default subclient.

You can create additional backup sets to provide a separate administration point for a specific group of subclients.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Linux File System.

2. Right-click Linux File System, point to All Tasks, and then click Create New Backup Set.

   The Create New Archive Set dialog box appears.

3. In the New Backup Set Name box, type a name for the new backup set.

4. In the Storage Policy list, select a storage policy name.

5. Click OK.
