Customizing the Oracle Backup Piece Format

You can customize the backup piece format for non RMAN backups by setting the following Additional Setting.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to the CommCell.

2. Right-click the <CommCell>, and click Properties.

3. On the Properties dialog box, navigate to the Additional Settings tab and click Add.

4. In the Name box, type sCustombackupPieceFormat.

5. In the Category box, select or type CommServe

6. In the Type box, select String.

7. In the Value box, type the format and click OK.
