Use this dialog box to select the criteria for a data verification operation.

Select Source MediaAgent
Allows you to select the source MediaAgent from which you will run the data verification job.
The MediaAgent should be one of the MediaAgents displayed in the Data Paths tab of the Copy Properties dialog box.
When the <Any MediaAgent> is selected, the system automatically picks up the appropriate MediaAgent, especially when multiple MediaAgents are associated with the copy. This ensures faster reads from the copy.

Copy Selection

All Copies
If selected, backups from all storage policy copies will be verified during this data verification operation.

Select a Copy
Allows you to select a copy in which all backups on this copy will be verified during this data verification operation.

No of Streams to be used in Parallel

Number of Streams
Allows you to select the number of data streams whose backups are verified at the same time during the data verification operation.

Allow Maximum
If selected, the maximum number of data streams will be verified at the same time during the data verification operation.

Jobs to Verify
Note
The Jobs to Verify options will appear when you run data verification job from Storage Policy level.

Newly available
If selected, only newly available jobs will be verified during the data verification operation.

Verification has expired
If selected, only jobs for which the verification has expired will be verified during the data verification operation.

Both Newly available and Verification expired
If selected, both newly available jobs and jobs for which the verification has expired will be verified during the data verification operation.

Description
Use this field to enter a description about the entity. This description can include information about the entity's content, cautionary notes, etc.

Advanced
Provides access to the Advanced Data Verification Options dialog box, which allows you to verify backups for only selected media.
