DDB Partition Details Report

The DDB Partition Details report is a drill-down report that provides partition-level performance, growth, and configuration details for deduplication databases.

This report is accessed from other deduplication reports and is not intended to be run on its own. It helps administrators investigate performance or capacity issues by analyzing individual partitions within a deduplication database.

Purpose

Use this report to:

  • View detailed metrics for individual deduplication database partitions
  • Analyze partition-level performance trends
  • Review partition configuration and storage paths
  • Monitor partition growth and cleanup behavior
  • Troubleshoot performance or capacity issues at the partition level

Using the Report Effectively

Use the DDB Partition Details report when:

  • A deduplication database shows high Q&I time
  • Disk space usage appears uneven across partitions
  • Pruning or space reclamation issues are suspected
  • You need to isolate performance or capacity issues to specific partitions

Start with the higher-level deduplication reports, then use this report to perform targeted, partition-level analysis.

Accessing the Report

This report is not a standalone report. It is accessed through hyperlinks from the following reports:
