You can disable the Explorer Plug-In on clients where it is already enabled.
If the setting for a client conflicts with the setting for the client group that the client is a member of, the client-level setting is used.
Before You Begin
Schedule an appropriate time to disable the plugin because disabling the plug-in will automatically restart Windows Explorer on the client computer or the client computer group. Users may unexpectedly see the Explorer restart.
Procedure
- To the client computer or the client computer group, add the bDisableExpPlugin additional setting as shown in the following table.
