Enabling IntelliSnap Backups for CIFS Shares of Azure NetApp Files

You can enable IntelliSnap backup on subclient for CIFS shares of Azure NetApp Files.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to <Azure NetApp Files client> | File System | defaultBackupSet.

2. Right-click the default subclient, and then click Properties.

   The Subclient Properties of default dialog box appears.

3. On the Storage Device tab, click Advanced.

4. Click the IntelliSnap Operations tab.

5. Select IntelliSnap.

6. From the Available Snap Engines list, select the Microsoft Azure Snap engine.

7. Click Yes, and then OK.

8. On the Data Access Nodes tab, under Available Data Access Nodes, select the access nodes that will participate in the backup operation, and then click Add.

9. Click OK.
