Enabling IPv6 Support During Remote Installation

You can enable IPv6 support while remotely installing Commvault software on a Windows or UNIX computer.

Procedure

1. Run the installation wizard. For more information, see Installations Using the CommCell Console (Remote Installations)

   The Optional Settings screen appears.

2. In the Override Preferred IP Family field, select one of the following:

   • Any for both IPv4 and IPv6 support

   • IPv4 for IPv4 support only

   • IPv6 for IPv6 support only
