Beginning Commvault Platform Release 2024, Commvault does not support the Automation feature anymore, and it is not included with fresh installs or upgrades to Commvault Platform Release 2024.

If you have Automation installed in Commvault 2023E and previous releases, you can continue to use it.
Automation is a feature that allows you to run automated test cases from the Commvault interface. Automation requires an installation of Workflow and Test Automation packages.
Before You Begin

Ensure that your computer is connected to the internet.

If your computer is not connected to the internet, then you can run automated test cases by installing the Python v3.6.6 Third Party Bundle for Automation on the computer.

The Test Automation framework is installed in the following location on the client machine: <installation path>\Automation.
