Getting Started with the OSDP C-Mode Feature

Step 2: Install the Workflow Engine

The OSDP C-Mode feature uses a replication workflow. To use the replication workflow, you must Install the Workflow Engine on the computer on which you plan to run the workflow.

Step 3: Configure Your Environment

To configure your environment for the OSDP C-Mode feature, complete the following steps:

  1. Create an OSDP C-Mode storage policy.

  2. Add and assign resource pools.

  3. Add the NetApp storage array in Array Management.

  4. Configure a backup copy.

  5. Associate subclients to the replication storage policy.

  6. Optional: If you plan to use SnapMirror, set up a Snapshot Copy for OSDP C-Mode.

Step 4: Optimize your environment

  1. Select the Optimized Scan method for Windows file system subclients.

  2. Enable optimized block-level replication. For more information, see Optimized Block Level Replication.
