By default, the appropriate resources (for both primary and inline copies) must be available for the backup operation to complete successfully. If resources are not available for either copy, the job will go into a waiting state until resources are available. Inline copy will never interrupt other jobs for resources needed for inline copy.
If the available resources are enough only for the primary copy, follow the steps to perform the backup operation without the inline copies.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers | <Client> | <Agent> | Backup Set.

Right-click the appropriate subclient, and then click Backup.

In the Backup Options for Subclient dialog box, click Advanced.

In the Advanced Backup Options dialog box, click the Media tab, and then clear the Wait for Inline Backup Resources check box.

Click OK and then click OK to close the Backup Options for Subclient dialog box.
