Migrating both VSA Proxy Client and Virtualization (Pseudo) Client

You can migrate both VSA proxy client and Virtualization client using CommCell Migration.

Procedure

1. During export, select both VSA proxy client and Virtualization client from the source CommServe.

2. Import the VSA proxy client and Virtualization client to the destination CommServe.

3. On the destination CommServe, perform the following:

   1. Perform name change for the VSA proxy client. For instructions, see Register Migrated Clients.

   2. Reconfigure the Virtualization client.

   3. Assign a new storage policy to the migrated subclients.

   4. Run backup on the migrated VSA proxy client.
