Migrating a Disk Library - Using a Network Mount Path

If you have a disk library with a network mount path, then associate the new MediaAgent with the disk library using the network path.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Storage Resources | Libraries | <Library>.

2. Right-click the mount path, and then click Share Mount Path.

3. In the Mount Path Properties dialog box, click Share.

4. In the Share Mount Path dialog box, select the new MediaAgent, and then click Network Path.

5. Specify the network path details, and then click OK.

6. For each MediaAgent that is shared with this library, select that MediaAgent, and then click Edit.

   1. Under the Network Path area, specify the new MediaAgent details.

   2. Click OK.

      A message appears that tells you that changing the property might cause data loss.

   3. Click OK.

7. Click OK.
