Modifying Data Interface Pairs Using the Control Panel

You can modify a data interface pair (also called a network pair) using the Control Panel.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Console ribbon, click Control Panel.

   The Control Panel window appears.

2. Click Data > Backup Networks.

   The welcome page of the Backup Network Wizard appears.

3. Click Next.

4. From the Select 1st Computer and Select 2nd Computer lists, click the names of the two clients in the existing pair, and then click Next.

5. Select the pair, and then click Edit.

6. Click on a different network interface identifier for one or both computers, and then click OK.

7. If you want to disable the data interface pair, clear the Active check box.

8. Click OK > Next.

9. Review your changes, and then click Finish.

10. Click Yes to modify another pair, or No to complete the operation.
