When you create a Nutanix Files client, a default backup set is automatically created, which contains a default subclient. The default subclient does not contain any content by default.
The default subclient does not back up the content that is specified in other subclients within the same backup set.
You can configure at least one or more data access nodes as backup nodes for the Nutanix Files subclient. The backup operation runs on the selected nodes. You can set data access nodes at the agent level or at the subclient level. The nodes set at the subclient level take precedence in such cases.
Before You Begin
-
Verify that all Windows data access nodes have access and permissions to the CIFS share.
-
Verify that the impersonate user credentials have read and write permissions on the CIFS share.
