MySQL Clone Options

Destination Client

The clone destination client.

Note

The destination client must be configured on the CommCell Console.

Instance Name

The clone destination instance.

Note

The source and destination instance must run the same MySQL version.

Binary Directory

The full path to the MySQL binary directory. The software populates this value when you select the destination instance.

Unix UserName

The MySQL user.

Note

The MySQL user in both the source and destination database servers must have the same user ID.

Port

The port number that the selected instance will use for communication purpose.

Clone working directory

The full path to the directory where the selected instance will be cloned.

Reservation Period

The time that the software retains the test environment. The default is 1 hour.

Overwrite if clone exists

Select this check box to overwrite an existing clone instance that uses the same port number as the new clone that you want to create.

Point In Time

Specifies that the restore operation must restore single or multiple databases to the selected date and time.

  • Restore Time

    Provides a space for you to enter the date and time. Click the arrow to display a calendar.

  • Time Zone

    Lists the time zones. To change the time zone, select one from the list.
