Overriding Snapshot Properties of a Snapshot Copy

You can override the snapshot properties of a storage array and customize the snapshot properties of a snapshot copy.

When you override the snapshot properties of a snapshot copy, all clients and subclients associated to the snapshot copy are affected.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Policies > Storage Policies > storage policy.

2. On the Contents tab, right-click the primary snap copy, and then click Properties.

   The Snap Copy properties of Primary Snap dialog box appears.

3. Click Manage Array.

   The Array Management dialog box appears.

4. Select an array, and then click Edit.

   The Array Management dialog box appears.

5. Click on the Snap Properties tab, and then override the properties that you want.

6. Click OK.
