Performing a Restore from the Global Search Bar

You can perform a restore by typing /restore entity_name in the global search bar. You can use the /restore command in the global search bar to back up file servers, laptops, and hypervisors.

Procedure

1. In the global search bar that is at the top of the Command Center, type /Restore, and then press Enter.

   

   The /Restore command appears in the global search bar.

2. Enter the entity name.

   As you type, the global search bar displays a list of matching entities.

   

3. When you find the entity, press Enter.

   The restore dialog box for the entity appears.
