Before you transition from OnePass for Exchange Mailbox (Classic) or the Exchange Mailbox (Classic) Agent to the Exchange Mailbox Agent, you must prepare the content that you want to import to the Exchange Mailbox Agent.
Important
Before you import your content, you must run an archiving job on all your mailboxes to create a baseline and to verify that the Exchange Mailbox Agent is archiving messages as expected.
Procedure
-
Install the Exchange package, and then add and configure the Exchange Mailbox Agent.
-
Run an archiving job on all your mailboxes.
-
Upgrade to the classic agent to the latest service pack.
-
Depending on which classic agent you want to transition from, do either of the following:
-
For the Exchange Mailbox (Classic) Agent, run a backup job on the subclients that will be imported, and then run a synthetic full job.
-
For OnePass for Exchange Mailbox (Classic), run an archiving job on the subclients that will be imported, and then run a synthetic full job.
-
-
Disable the synthetic full schedules for all the classic subclients.
-
Optional: We recommend that you disable incremental jobs for all the classic subclients.
