Prerequisites - DB2 Database Administrator

Before you begin your backup and restore operations, do the following:

1. Ensure that the DB2 Agent is installed on the client computer.

2. Have the DVD mounted on the client computer.

3. Acquire the following from the backup administrator:

   • CommCell login credentials. The CommCell user must have agent management permissions.

   • Storage Policy name for the database backups
