Preventing Backups on Disabled Clients

You can disable backup operations on client computers that are disabled. When you choose not to back up disabled clients, the backup activity is disabled in the hierarchy (subclient, client, and so on).

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Console ribbon, on the Home tab, click Control Panel.

2. Under Data, click Job Management.

3. On the General tab, select the Do not start backups on disabled clients check box.

4. Click OK.
