Problems with Pruning Aged Data

If you observe problems with the pruning of aged data in a mount path, the reason can be the unavailability of the mount path label file. You can create the label file in a mount path if the file does not exist. A predefined workflow is used for the creation of mount path label file.

Resolution

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Storage Resources > Libraries > Library.

2. Right-click the mount path and click Create Mount Path Label.

   The CreateMountPathLabels Options dialog box appears.

3. In Run workflow on, select the workflow engine to execute the workflow.

   If you select Any, the workflow engine with the latest deployed version of the workflow is used.

4. Click OK.

   The Select Media Agent dialog box appears.

5. In MediaAgent, select a MediaAgent.

6. Click OK.

   The MountPath Label Creation Result window displays the summary of label file creation.
