By default, you can recover the database along with the restore operation. However, you cannot recover a partial database. Also, you will not be able to recover a database while performing an out-of-place restore operation. If you are trying to recover the database using the backup image, you will not be able to reapply the logs for restore.
The Commvault software waits 2 minutes for the IntelliSnap operation to complete. If the job does not complete when this time expires, the Commvault software marks the job as failed and brings the database out of the quiesced state. You can set this to a higher value to allow more time for the job to complete. For more information, see Configuring the time the Commvault Software Waits for the IntelliSnap Operation.
