Replacing Client Name with Client Host Name in the Event Viewer Alert Notification

The Windows Event Viewer alert notification includes the client name in the event properties. For an example of a Windows Event Viewer alert notification, see Setting Up Windows Event Viewer Alert Notifications. You can replace the client label and value with the client host name.

Procedure

1. To the CommServe computer, add the nUseClientHostNameWindowsEventViewerAlert additional setting as shown in the following table.
