If you export a report to CSV format, and then open or save the file with Microsoft Excel, then Excel's auto-formatting feature might cause some numeric content to display incorrectly in the report.
For example, a series of four-digit, Service Pack Update numbers might appear as one long number. If you see this in the Excel output, save the report and then open the report with a text editor, such as Notepad or WordPad. If you save the file with Microsoft Excel and then open the file in a text editor, the content still displays incorrectly.
To open the report with a text editor:

Generate a report.

Click the CSV
button. -
Save the file to your local computer.
