Restoring Data to a Different PostgreSQL Server Instance on the Same Client

By default, the database is restored to the same location from where it was backed up.

To redirect the data directory path to a different path, perform a redirect restore operation.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to <Client> | PostgreSQL.

2. Right-click the <Instance> and then click All Tasks | Restore PostgreSQL Server.

3. Select the destination server on the same client from the Destination Server list.

4. Click OK.
