Restoring a DB2 MultiNode Database from a Point-in-Time

You can restore a database from a point-in-time. This is useful if you want to restore certain configurations/contents in the database that are not reflected in the latest backup. For example, you can use this option to restore an IntelliSnap backup if your latest backup was a traditional backup.

The Commvault software waits 2 minutes for the IntelliSnap operation to complete. If the job does not complete when this time expires, the Commvault software marks the job as failed and brings the database out of the quiesced state. You can set this to a higher value to allow more time for the job to complete. For more information, see Configuring the time the Commvault Software Waits for the IntelliSnap Operation.
