Restricting the Users and User Groups Domain Users See

By default, domain users can see all users and user groups in their domain. You can restrict domain users to see only user groups they are members of and the users in those user groups by adding the CanSeePeerNameServerMembers additional setting.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click CommServe and then click Properties.

2. In the CommCell Properties dialog box, click the Additional Settings tab and then click Add.

3. In the Add Additional Settings dialog box, add the CanSeePeerNameServerMembers additional setting with the following properties:

   Property	Value
   Name	CanSeePeerNameServerMembers
   Category	CommServDB.GxGlobalParam
   Type	INTEGER
   Value	0 - to restrict the users and user groups a domain user can see 1 - to remove the restriction

4. In the CommCell Properties dialog box, click OK.
