Revert a Database Mirrored snapshot.
Consider the following before you perform a revert operation:
-
Reverting a snapshot on any single file system will revert the entire pool and all the file systems under it.
-
If you performed an IntelliSnap backup when the mirrored pool contains LUNs from different physical arrays, then the snapshots from only one side of the mirror are reverted.
Before You Begin
-
To ensure that the pool is consistent, to the database client, add the additional setting as shown in the following table.
For instructions on how to add additional settings from the CommCell Console, see Add or Modify an Additional Setting.

Procedure
-
From the CommCell Console, expand Client Computers > <client.
-
Right-click the subclient and click List Snaps.
The Snaps created during IntelliSnap operation appears.
-
Right-click the snapshot that you wish to delete and click Use hardware revert capability if available.
-
Enter the confirmation text string.
-
Click OK.
Result
After the revert operation, the reverted pool is in a degraded state, because the software imported or created it by using only one side of the mirror.
