Schedule Destination to Source Sync

Schedule the destination to source sync operation.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Console, expand Client Computers > destination_client > File System > backup_set.

  2. Right-click the subclient and click Backup.

    The Backup Options dialog box appears.

  3. In the Backup Options for Subclient dialog box, select the backup type and job initiation:

    1. Under Select Backup Type, to perform an incremental backup, click Incremental.

    2. Under Job Initiation, click Schedule and then click Configure to schedule the backup job.

    3. Click Advanced.

    4. In the Advanced Backup Options dialog box, on the Alert tab, click Add Alert.

      The Add Alert Wizard appears.

    5. On the Threshold and Notification Criteria page, select the Job Succeeded and Job Succeeded with Error check boxes.

    6. Ensure that all other check boxes are cleared and click Next.

    7. On the Notification Type(s) Selection page, select the Select [E-mail] for notification check box.

    8. Click the Run Command sub-tab. Specify the location of the batch file (restore_last_backup.bat) in the Command Script Location box and click Next.

    9. On the Notification Type(s) Selection page, select the CommCell Users and/or CommCell User Groups to receive the alert and click Next.

    10. Review the options you selected in the Summary page and click Finish.
