When running a ddb data verification job, you can create a schedule that will first look for unverified jobs on regular time intervals but the data verification job will only run if there is new data to be verified.
Before You Begin
Before you set up the ddb data verification schedule, ensure that at least one successful data verification job has run for the ddb.
Procedure
-
From the CommCell Browser, expand Storage Resources > Deduplication Engines > storage_policy_copy.
-
Right-click the appropriate deduplication database, click All Tasks > Run Data Verification.
-
On the Job Initiation tab, select Automatic Verification and enter the time Interval in minutes.
For example:
If you enter 60 minutes, then a data verification job will check for the existence of any new unverified job on the ddb every 60 minutes. In case there are new unverified jobs available in the ddb, the data verification will run automatically.
-
Click Ok.
-
Optionally you can modify this schedule. For more information, see Modifying a Schedule.
