Sent Alerts Log File

The sent alerts log file (SentAlerts.log) contains information about alerts that were sent from the CommCell Console.

Information in the Log File

The sent alerts log contains the following information:

  • Date when the alert was sent.

  • Alert name.

  • Alert type (for example, SNMP or email).

  • Alert recipients and trap details.

  • Attributes sent in the alert.

Example

The following string is an example of an entry in the sent alerts log file:

5972  17e4  10/21 11:38:23 --- Email() -  Alert: Analytics - Low Disk Space To List: admin@commcell.com CC List:  BCC List:  Subject:  Alert: Analytics - Low Disk Space Type: Operation - Event Viewer Events

Accessing the Log File

The information for the sent alerts log file is available in Log Files/SentAlerts.log on the CommServe client.
