You can share the RP store hosted on a MediaAgent that is not used as an access node for replication. By default, the Commvault software blocks pair creation when none of the access nodes have access to the RP store.
Procedure

Go to the computer that has RP store folder.

Right-click the RP store folder, and then go to Share with > Specific people.

Add the users in the network, specify the Read/Write permissions, and then click Share.

Log on to the CommCell Console.

From the CommCell Browser, go to Storage Resources > RP Store.

Right-click the mount path, and then click Share RP Store.
The Mount Path Properties dialog box appears.

On the Sharing tab, click Share.
The Share Mount Path dialog box appears.

Verify that the transport mode is Regular.

Select the mount paths that you want to share the RP Store with.

Select Network Path.

From the Credential list, select the credentials that will allow the user to access the network path.

In the Folder box, enter the folder.

Click OK.

Click OK.
