Symptom
For a Windows virtual machine on ESX 4.1, if the disk.UUID attribute is enabled and no user defined snapshots are created for the virtual machine, two snapshots of the virtual machine are created.
Resolution
If you do not want to create two snapshots, disable the disk.UUID attribute.
