Media Pruning
Use this subtab to configure the retention of backups on the secondary storage.
During synthetic full, prune items

Based on storage policy copy retention
Messages that are deleted by the user are retained in the backup cycle for the number of days and cycles that are specified in the storage policy copy retention. This option is only available for backup operations.

Older than n days based on received time from latest cycle
Backed up messages are retained on the secondary storage for the specified number of days. By default, the backed up messages are retained for 1825 days.

Retain Indefinitely
Backed up messages are never deleted from the secondary storage. This is the default behavior.
Source Pruning
Use this subtab to configure message and stub retention criteria on the source.
Prune Stubs
Select to delete the stubs in the mailbox. Based on the stub creation time, the stubs will be deleted from the mailbox after the specified number of days.
Prune Message
Select to delete the messages that did not meet the disk cleanup rules in the mailbox. Based on the message receive time, the messages will be deleted from the mailbox after the specified number of days.
Older than n days based on received time
Specify the number of days after which the stubs and the mailbox messages will be deleted.
Prune Messages/Stubs which users erase from the media
Select this option to erase (prune) messages from the Exchange server when the user erases those messages from backup storage. Actual erasing happens during the next incremental backup run.
Subclient Properties (Contents) PST Archiving
Content
Use this tab to filter the PST files available in Laptop backups and Windows File System Backups.
Backup Start Time
Select the starting date and time range for the available backups.
Backup End Time
Select the last date and time range for the available backups.
Association
Use this tab to select the Client computers from which you want to filter the PST files for archiving.
Preview
This tab displays a preview of all of the selections that you made made for running the PST archiving operation.
Backup Start Time
Displays the starting date and time range for the available backups.
Backup End Time
Displays the last date and time range for the available backups.
View Items
Displays the selected client computers from which the PST files are filtered for archiving.
PST Owner Management
Use this tab to determine the ownership of PST files.
Based on ACLs
When selected, it allows the PST files containing owner information to be assigned to the respective owners. These are displayed in the browse window under their specific owners.
Based on Laptop Owner, if ACLs not found
Select this option incase, the owner information is not available. Based on laptop ownership the PST files are assigned to the respective laptop owners and are displayed under specific laptop owners in the browse view.
Based on Folder Hierarchy
Select this option if the PST files are located in shared locations.
Starting Folder Path
Enter the exact path of the share where the PST files exists. Ensure that the folder path that is specified is same as the File system browse path.
AD Property
Depending on your enterprise requirements, select either the LegacyExchangeDN or sAMAccount hierarchy
PST Folder Management
Use this tab to determine the display in the browse view of PST files with specific owner information.
Create a separate parent folder for PSTs
Specify a folder name in the available space and a new folder with this name will be created to display the PSTs in the browse view.
(Optional) Select either option to display the PSTs in either of the following format:

Merge folders from all PSTs under the parent folder
-
Use PST name to create child folder
Merge folders from PST into Mailbox Hierarchy
Select this option to merge PST files in a structure wherein the PST folders are merged into the online mailbox hierarchy.
PSTs with no Owner Information
Use this section to assign the PST files with no owner information to either one of the following:

Use PST name to create folder
-
Merge folders from all PSTs under the parent folder
