If you switch from one proxy computer to another, the new proxy computer does not automatically register to the file server. To register the new proxy computer with the file server, perform the following tasks:
Procedure

Recycle the services manually on the proxy computer.

Restart ClMgrS services to register the proxy computer.

Run an archive job using the new proxy computer.
Note: The first archive job run through the new proxy computer will back up all the files.
Limitations
Re-stubbing is not supported on recalled files.
