To test connectivity from the Commvault control plane or an access node to Air Gap Protect in other cloud storage, such as Azure Blob Storage, use the CloudTestTool utility. The utility can test connectivity for both commercial and government cloud environments.
Requirements
- All required outbound connections must be allowlisted.
- You must have the storage account names or region details you want to test.
Start CloudTestTool

Log on to the MediaAgent for the cloud storage or the Commvault control plane server.

At the command prompt, enter the following:
/opt/commvault/Base/CloudTestToolThe CloudTestTool prompt appears:

Press Enter.
The main menu appears:
