The Dell EMC TimeFinder BCV engine creates a mirror image of the Business Continuance Volume (BCV) device that is its source volume. The mirror images are used for the backup copy operation.
Target Devices
Use the BCV+TDEV configuration for the volume type as target devices. For Dell EMC TimeFinder BCV engines, to create mirror images, use target devices that have the same size, which is determined by the number of cylinders.
