Symptom
A snap backup fails with the following error message:
Snapshot creation failed for kind uuid 'f467b3c3-a5b6-4517-9018-4dac0a68b41b', reason Abort snapshot creation due to internal error
Cause
This error occurs when the host affinity is set on the VM. In Nutanix Prism User Management, for Backup and Recovery Capable, the status of the VM is ‘NO’.
Resolution
Remove the VM host affinity.
